A 60-year-old lawyer from Gujarat’s Rajkot, who was at the forefront of Covid relief work in the city, passed away after a heart attack while he was live on Facebook last night.
Those who were watching him live on Facebook, could not initially make sense of what was happening but later paid their tributes as another person entered the room and tried to revive the lawyer but couldn’t succeed.
The deceased, Atulbhal Sanghvi, was working in the advocate panel of nationalised, cooperative and private banks for years. He was also honoured as a Corona warrior by the welfare trust Dikra-nu-Ghar for his help in contribution in distributing meals to the needy, with the help of the police commissioner and Bolbala Trust, during the lockdown.
He was associated with many projects of Suraksha Setu Society of the Rajkot City Police. Sanghvi, born on March 30, 1961, had been practising lawyer since 1983.
